Nelson Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with Field Day on June 17th. Volunteer positions include the following: setup, volunteer breakfast, check-in, class/teacher helper, inflatables, volunteer lunch, first aid/water/rest station, and breakdown. You must have a current background check on file with the school. Background checks are good for 2 years. You can confirm the status of yours with the front office. An application is included with the Field Day flier in this week’s Friday Folders. Please allow 2 weeks before the event for the background check to be completed.
In addition to volunteers, Nelson Elementary is seeking donations for Field Day. Donations needed include: hot dogs, hot dog buns, water, soda, chips (mini bags), cookies (store bought), ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise (squeezable). Nelson is also looking for items to borrow such as Easy Ups Tents, coolers, and a grill.
